The Colorlight SSR-L16 is an ambient light brightness sensor built for LED display automatic brightness control. It detects real-time ambient illumination and sends data to the LED control system to adjust screen brightness automatically, optimizing visual experience and lowering power consumption.
This SSR-L16 model features a 0–65535 lux wide measuring range. It operates on 5V power supplied directly by the controller, requiring no external power adapter. The sensor works reliably from -20℃ to 75℃ with 0–99% humidity tolerance. It adopts three-proof construction, waterproof, dustproof and salt resistant, suitable for outdoor long-term deployment.
It uses RJ11 interface to connect to Colorlight iM9 multifunction card or A35, A60, A100, A200 cloud players. The standard cable length is 5 meters and can be extended for longer installation distance. Its compact probe size is Ø32*41mm for simple mounting.
Common application scenarios include outdoor advertising LED billboards, street digital signage, retail store LED walls, stadium display screens and transportation roadside LED displays. It stabilizes screen brightness under changing day and night light conditions, reducing eye strain and extending LED panel lifespan.
