The Colorlight SSR-L16-RJ11 is an ambient brightness sensor designed for automatic brightness regulation of LED display walls. This model detects real-time ambient light levels and sends signals to the LED control system to dynamically tune screen brightness, improving viewing quality and reducing power consumption.
The SSR-L16-RJ11 uses RJ11 interface to connect directly with Colorlight A35, A60, A100, A200 cloud players and iM9 multifunction card. The standard cable length is 5 meters, and the cable can be extended to meet longer installation distance requirements. It runs on 5V power supplied by the controller, so no external power adapter is needed.
The sensor supports a wide measuring range from 0 to 65535 lux. It operates steadily within -20℃ to 75℃ and tolerates humidity up to 99%. Its three-proof construction delivers waterproof, dustproof and salt-resistant performance, suitable for long-term outdoor exposure. The compact probe size simplifies mounting on building facades and sign frames.
Typical application scenarios include outdoor LED billboards, roadside digital signage, retail indoor LED video walls, stadium displays, shopping mall screens and transportation LED advertising panels. It automatically brightens screens under strong sunlight and dims them at night, protecting viewer eyes and extending the service life of LED panels.
